[Product Update] WHMCS Plugin v2.0 supports USDT payments!

Blockonomics has always been committed to empowering merchants with permissionless cryptocurrency payment solutions that ensure complete sovereignty over funds.
We’re thrilled to announce that full USDT support is now officially available in our plugin on the WHMCS marketplace :tada:
This milestone represents our continued dedication to expanding payment options while maintaining the security, reliability, and user-friendly experience that Blockonomics users have come to expect :saluting_face:

How to start accepting USDT Payments on WHMCS?

  1. Download latest Blockonomics Plugin from WHMCS Marketplace. Note that plugin version 2.0 onwards supports USDT payments.

  2. Login to the Merchant Dashboard, add your Wallet, and enable Payment method on your Store (as seen in gif below)

  3. Copy your API Key from Store page and paste it in your Plugin settings. Click Test Setup.

Which network is supported for USDT payments?

We are supporting the USDT payments on Ethereum Mainnet (ERC-20). We’ve also added a Sandbox mode in the plugin settings. Here you can enable the Sepolia Testnet to test the integration without spending any real :dollar_banknote: :money_bag:

How does the USDT Checkout work?

  • Wallet Connection: Customers can connect their USDT wallet to your shop
  • Initiate Payment: Once connected, they can initiate the payment from your shop
  • Direct Transfer: All payments are sent directly to your added Wallet
  • USDT Checkout

What else is new?

We’ve also added Store Name field in the plugin settings so you can easily know which Store is linked to your WHMCS store. Note that you’ll need to refresh the Page after hitting Test Setup for changes to take place.

Known Issues:

  • You must hit the Test Setup button for the the following changes in your Store to be reflect on WHMCS Store:
    • enabling / disabling a currency
    • Changing Store name
  • Currently plugin don’t provide a way to disconnect the wallet once it is connected to a Store. You need to do that from the wallet itself. You need to navigate to Wallet settings > All permissions and choose website for which to disconnect the wallet. If you have trouble finding that, just let us know what wallet you are using and we can assist you here, or via our Support Portal :victory_hand:
